Why should philosophy be chained to the Academy? Why should only hermetically closed scientific groups have the exclusive right to represent and to mediate philosophical knowledge? We can not cram the love of wisdom into a school incubator. The joy of knowing can not be limited to an economical form of offer and demand, the form of examinational questions and answers. The original truth can not be over-written by rigid concepts, ideological blindness and arguments of force. The Philosopher is not only somebody who gets symbolic recognition from the privileged communities. Virtual knowledge is often only a cackle of statements. Let’s not forget - every fraternity had its proper secret recognizable word.
The time has come for philosophy to demolish the walls of the incubator, to break the chains and to raise its voice at the centre of the square. It has been longing to return to its original place. Contrary to what its contenders are putting forward, it consents to a broader social context. That is why there are – aside from books, discussions, articles and other papers that are written for gaining academic points - T-shirts that think. To return in its utter glory, in the depths of it’s extension and unlimited sincerity, philosophy emerges from a superficial view to a new, surprisingly fashionable, rebirth! In the desire to express what lies on its heart, it resurfaces into the most common popular clothing. With the reserve of limited space, it can fill it only with debris of its lifelong efforts of thought. Despite the fact that the oracle prophecies speak for themselves, it wanted to accompany them with images of equivocal meaning to show the inadequacy of limitation on categorical frames. Dynamic, popular clothing satisfies its need for coincidental and new encounters with those who are open to a dialog with it. T-shirts that think are not T-shirts that think instead of you. Philosophy didn’t come to bring you answers; it only borrowed your clothes to encourage you once again to think. Philosophical thought can not share the fruits of its labor with opposition; it can only share the work that has or has not been accomplished.
In the time when everything is done in a way that does not require one to think, let “thought” break all the chains and the fears!
