Philoguerrillo showcased in the Klik magazine

We proudly announce the presentation of our project in the Klik magazine. The theme of this edition is philosophy and creativity which perfectly complies our philo-guerrillo. Peter wrote short presentation article. Moreover the vizualization of George Berkley’s quote "being is perceiving" was brought to light.

Uniqe Tee collections are on the way

In our ambition to improve the quality of T-shirts and shorten the delivery period, we’ve decided to take the Philoguerrillo - thinking T-shirts project to a higher level.

At time of developing the concept of philosophical T-shirts, we didn’t expect that the project will be so warmly and widely accepted. To offer the T-shirt to all interested parties we have decided to allow single orders. As time went by, we have found out that printing single T-shirts doesn’t allow for adequate quality and unacceptably expands production time.
 
To assure our T-shirts are taken to a higher level, we have decided to continue the project with the production of a limited and unique series, which will contain at least 20 copies of specific motifs.

Before the realisation of the new collection, you can buy only T-shirts which are momentarily in stock. Other motifs will, unless in case there is wider interest, become history of our first meeting and will, from time to time, reappear as part of thematic collections. In case you would like to have 20 shirts with the same motif, you can order them any time.

Project presentation

On Wednesday 4th of February 2008 , as part of the event called "Šola politične pismenosti" ,  organised in cooperation with the Maribor-based  Institute for ethichs  by Zofijini ljubimci, the presentation of the Philoguerrillo project will take place. With the exposition of the project groundworks ,the lecture will try to stress the meaning of alternative ways of presenting  philosophical knowledge for political activity. The central point of the lecture will be the explication of ways by which spontaneous distribution of philosophical thought can help to undermine fictions of democracy and other political systems. Because of the fact that every political arrangement excludes a larger or smaller number of individuals from decision-making processes, alternative ways of expression can give voice to the people who are excluded from majority opinions. The theoretical part of the lecture will be complemented by the unfolding of some modern strategies of sharing knowledge.

The lecture will take place in the Gustav hall in Pekarna Maribor at 6pm.

Printing

We are announcing that the T-shirts are being printed and will, as soon as possible be delivered to your addresses.

Ordering

Because of holidays and the moving of the printing office in which our t-shirts are printed,  all orders made in December will be realized in January at the earliest. Sincere apologies.

The exhibition of T-shirts and posters in Pekarna will be open to see until the end of the week.

On Friday, 5th of December, starts an exhibiton of our T-shirts at the Maribor-based “Pekarna” at 8pm.  Welcome.
