Kazimir Malevich, a painter with Polish origins, is one of the founders of suprematism, the art movement which explores the range of expression with geometrical bodies, especially the circle and the square. One of the most famous Malevich’s pieces called Black square inspires various philosophical interpretations, which are mostly grounded in theoretical psychoanalysis. Abstract painting opens questions associated with the problem of the genesis of objects, wishes and similar. This is confirmed by Malevich’s thought which says: »Comerades! Arise, free yourselves from the tyranny of objects.«
